Start Over
Starting over is a huge task and it is made especially difficult if you are overcoming an obstacle or hardship. Divorce, loss of a loved one, job loss. Starting over even on a smaller scale can be tough.
My daughter, a Junior in college, was explaining how trying it can be to start over each new semester. New professors, new expectations, new buildings to find, new schedules. It can all be very stressful.
I encourage my daughter to look at each new semester as a chance to start fresh, a clean slate. I encourage everyone to do that. It is easier said then done, I understand that. I am speaking from experience when I say starting over is tough but staying stuck is even worse.
